Whilst searching for an explanation as to why the Tim Lovejoy fronted Channelbee site had sadly closed, I came across The Panterpit. It’s a forum where former members of Channelbee are congregating and whilst looking around the posts I spotted a fantastic competitions related story about a woman who thought that she’d won a brand new Toyota car.

The newspaper clip above tells the story, and although it’s a few years old it’s worth a mention here on our blog. According to USA Today, Jodee Berry, the former Hooters waitress, settled her lawsuit for an undisclosed sum.

It goes to show it does pay to pay attention to the prizes on offer. Not only to make sure you’re not going after prizes you don’t want, but if you do win you get the real value of the prizes due to you!
