Win a Loquax Duck Montage

To remind us of the various options we considered we asked Simon Chadwick at Ceratopia to put together a montage of all the ducks. The result is a unique piece of Loquax duck art and two special prints occupy wall space in both Swansea and Huddersfield. However, we’re now giving you the chance to win what is a fairly unique prize.
This canvas art print is 18in x 12in and shows the new Loquax logo surrounded by a selection of the designs. Some are proofs, because they didn’t make the cut, whilst others are final art work as we picked them.
This prize may remain a one off, so very unique, or we may depending on interest offer a few more in the coming months. Either way it’s a very special item for anyone who’s a fan of Loquax.
To enter the competition all you have to do is leave a message on the blog – what we want to know is “what do you like about Loquax?”!
It doesn’t have to rhyme and it doesn’t have to be in 20 words or less (although try and keep it concise)! Just say something nice as if your answer is “nothing” then we’ll assume you won’t want to win this prize. It deserves a good home with a lovely Loquax user after all!
One lucky duck will be chosen at random from all the nice entries, and please one entry per person only. Competition is for UK users only.

I appreciate and like the fact that Loquax is constantly evolving to meet our needs. Technology has changed greatly from when alot of us ancient compers started out but this site never dates. I love it.
I love Loquax because everyone is so friendly and always quick to help! The amount of competitions you list is amazing and without Loquax I would not have been able to take my family on thier first holiday abroad this year!
I love being easily able to keep track of so many competitions, and the ducky theme is an added bonus as I love the little yellow fellows!
It’s like one big happy family (well most of the time lol) I love keeping up with the forums and of course entering all the lovely comps

I love Loquax because the people are so friendly and helpful. There are more competitions than I could enter if it was my full time job. No need to go anywhere else. Plus I have won some fabulous prizes that I wouldn’t have known about had it not been for Loquax. Can’t imagine you not being a part of my life now!

I like Loquax as it is a very concise site, you are always thinking of ways to update and change for the better, you ask our opinions AND actually listen and take it on board when you are rearranging things, the systems are easy to use and the variety of comps,chat etc etc (I could go on forever) are brilliant. No matter what time I go on there is always someone online and that makes a difference when you are sat on your own at home xx
As a single mum I love Loquax as it keeps me occupied in the evening whilst the boys are zzzzzing and I love their little faces when some unexpected treats arrive….however I dont think my postie is as appreciative sometimes!!
When I found loquax a few years ago I had young children and my hubbie was working away a lot,the site became a real life saver something for “me” it got my brain worrking again (being a full time mum sometimes it can be tad boring)it got me out the house looking for products/down the post office and it provided lots and lots of extra treats and goodies we could not really afford with a young family..So what do I like…Everything …It got me through a few lonely years… so Thank you.

I love Loquax because it is like a very good friend – always available and the members are so helpful and generous. It is well run and offers us the chance to win big ( though I am still waiting!!)
Well, it’s been my regular haunt since (checks profile…) October 2001, so I must like something about it! The site and its members always make me feel welcome, even during the periods when I’m more a lurker than a participant. I haven’t found a friendlier forum anywhere else. And of course I’ve done pretty well prize-wise. Thank you Jason and Kirsty!

That’s easy to answer…. EVERYTHING! Life must have been so boring before I found Loquax, can’t imagine what I used to do with my time. The site is so well laid out and easy to find your way around with an amazing number of comps, everyone is so friendly and helpful almost like an extended family, including the occasional argument. Best of all Loquax never closes so you are never alone.

i find loquax is a stress buster! after a hard days work its my ‘treat’ to be able to pop along here, meet friends and enter comps at the same time. It is part of my daily routine now!
The majority of loquats are lovely people, willing to help where they can, either physically or just morally supportive, give advice, and assistance, and post up new comps. One of the best forums around. Jason and Kirsty work so hard on our behalf in keeping the site up to the moment with layout and new comps, plus new ideas. There is nothing out there to beat Loquax – and long may it reign thus! Rock on!
I love Loquax firstly, of course, for all the competitions and the easy way you can track what you have entered, and of course, picking up your wins! Secondly, for the forums and interesting debates. I can honestly say that everyone I have had correspondence with have been lovely. Many thanks Loquax!
If it wasn’t for Loquax, I wouldn’t have seen Metallica live! I also love the way people are so willing to share their own hard work in the form of magazine answers and I love the forums for its mix of lively debates. Oneminute you can be falling out with someone over politics or foxhunting, but two minutes later the same person will be offering you valuable help and support with no grudges held. It’s like a family!

I like the opportunities to win things for myself or my family that I wouldn’t ever be able to buy. I’m not the biggest winner ever, but I’m happy with those things that I’ve won and always appreciate who’s posted it. By way of payback, I’m always really pleased to log comps that I’ve found, even if they are for something that I’m not entering, as that way I’m giving something back and not just taking. I also really enjoy the chat and friendship on the forums.
I love Loquax because it has sooooo maaaaany comps to enter, there’s always something worth winning, and the tracker keeps me organised. The forums are great, lots of interesting discussion going on, and there’s always somebody to help when needed.

loquax is the first thing i look at in the morning and the last thing at night, its a great relaxent after a long day at work i can kick back browse the threads on the forum to see what everyones been up to and catch up with the latest news,its a great place for sharing and i have been helped by so many fellow loquaxers with not only hints and tips and heads up about competitions but also with many of lifes problems that are thrown at you.oh yes i nearly forgot you can win stuff too

Great competitions, great advice, friendly like minded people, never mind the comping if you feel even a little isolated just sign in to Loquat and it’s like having lots of friends round. A good social network as well as a brilliant, top class comping site.
I like Loquax as it is so easy to use. There are more competitions listed than anyone could possibly enter yet it is really well organised. I don’t know how you do it! The Loquax community is great too. There’s always someone around to help whether your problem is comp related or not. I love the ducks too.
I love everything about Loquax, but the best thing about it is that I tell my family I am doing very important work (when I’m on there), but really I’m having fun. And although they know full well what I’m up to, they know better than to get in my way!
I like the fact that there’s no need to go anywhere else for competition-related information, competitions and great support from everyone in the forums.

I like the way Loquax has grown over the years but still remains a place where compers can get support and advice, comp related or otherwise. Jason and Kirsty do a great job of keeping the site updated and saving us from some of the less reputable sites. The way the board is laid out, the online friends i have made, the tracker, the ease of use on the forums and main listings, the fantastic selection of competitions, the mods and admin. All of these as they are what makes Loquax the best competition site on the internet.

a great place to join in chat or comping- enter one or two or enter hundreds! i have won from comps found on loquax (as well as elsewhere). a truly wondrous source of the very best comps around and so easy to use with the little yellow tracker ducks so you never enter the same one twice thus disqualifying yourself. the people who run the site must be incredibly hardworking and deserve a huge pat on the back. well done boys and girls.

I love loquax because there is a real sense of community. Just like any community occasionally there are falling-outs when people don’t hold the same opinion but, for the most part, support for each other on all fronts is fantastic. When my husband died I was so taken with all the messages of support, I printed them off and have them in a folder along with all my condolence cards. I joined Loquax a few years ago after reading a comping article in a chat/take a break type mag and wondered on the internet seeing what it’s all about. I was hooked within a week. Loquax is literally a one stop shop for the most hip and happening comps out there. The people are lovely and if you log on not really in the mood for entering oodles of comps, you can nose off into some of the other forums and just chat/read what else is going on in Loquaxland!! :

Though the obvious answer is to say it has the best and i mean the best comps on the web loquax is so much more than that. for one thing it has saved me a fortune and immesurable time wading through lots of websites and magazines etc looking for comps; to me if its not on loquax then its not worth entering! but to me the main part of loquax is the forums, not only more comps but advice support and laughs a plenty. you make so many friends and become part of a huge wonderful family. none of this would be possible without jason and kirsty who could never have enough thanks for what they do every day of the week every week of the year.

Apart from the friendly Loquats, the lovely Jason & Kirsty, helpful mods and loads of tempting competitions, I like that I’m trusted enough to send in ‘unchecked user submissions’.
I use Loquax every day, it gives me a real buzz, I have several really useful and fun things over the past few years. Keep it going!
I love the simplicity of the site, it is very easy to keep track of my favourite sites and know which ones I have entered, new comps, closing comps etc. I have won some great prizes thanks to loquax. My children love it when I win prizes for them and enjoy helping me with some of the comp questions! The forum is mostly a friendly place full of helpful people who are genuinely thrilled to hear about other peoples wins, and share any new comps that they find.
Being new to Competitions I have found loquax to be an enormous help. I have all the information I need (except answers) to enter as many comps as I like. Closing dates, tracking and orderly listings are a real blessing

Loquax is a really well thought out and administered web site. It has something for everyone, with advice on lots of things, from entering competitions to making scrummy soup (thanks soup index!). I LOVE LOQUAX!!! Why? Hard to explain….errmm…I feel restless, uncomfortable, uneasy, on edge, sleepless, I feel totally completely LOST without Loquax!
Whats not to like? This is one of those extremely rare times when i’m lost for words- make the most of it, it doesnt happen often lol. What do i like? gawd what a question, i can tell you i hate questions like this and would normally pass over such a comp, but how could i miss the chance of winning such a great prize? I like the competitions- well most of them, i love the forums, i love the layout and the colours, i love the camaraderie, the one big family ethos, i love the simplicity and i love the crossword helper which has helped countless times, i like trying to be useful and help people with problems if i can, be it a competition question or a computer problem or even the rare occasion of finding a competition not already posted, only one thing could improve it and thats training loquax to bring me my pipe and slippers of an evening, but as i’ve never smoked and loquax is screen bound, there’s nothing that can be done to solve that one. or is there???….. lol

I love loquax because after years of spending a fortune on stamps to enter postcard competitions after subscribing to a comping mag (and just winning a video!) I can enter everything for free on the internet and forever be hopeful that that big holiday/cash prize/vip trip will be mine! Plus the prizes I’ve won already have been great and not cost me a penny to enter. Also the whole loquax community in the forums are so friendly and helpful.
I love the fact that not only does Loquax give you the opportunity to win some quacking prizes but everyone is really friendly and I enjoy using the forums as much as the rest of the site. There is always someone to give advice or lend an ear if you have a problem or need to find something out.
I love loquax as it helps me organise what comps i want to enter and believe me my memory is that bad i need my little ducks to make sure im not disqualified for comps i would love to win.
These ducks remind me of all the ducks I saw at Florida Disneyworld. Quack, quack. A very good site for comps, not yet prizes – hopefully soon!, information, chat and good all round helpfulness. A1++++++++++

I wish I had spotted this comp, but I have been away, I love Loquax, I get withdrawal symptoms if I don’t look at the site loads during the day, keep up the good work
everything, I dont go anywhere else for my comping, best community, best organised site, easy to use and navigate and thats just what we all need! good work Jason and Kirsty.
