CompEx 2007 takes place on Saturday 28th April in Whipton, Exeter. Places are already full and up to 90 eager compers will be spending the day enjoying competitions, raffles, a sit-down 2 course buffet lunch plus of course chat and gossip about competitions.
If you’re attending then you will have a “Lucky Entry” ticket and this ticket will be entered in the Big Raffle for every single prize until you win (assuming you do!), and then re-entered for the final ‘biggies’ at the end, so you’ve got loads of chances to win - including a £100 prize donated by Loquax.
There will be a further charity raffle (for Diabetes UK), but tickets for that are only available on the day. Last year, CompEx raised a fantastic £747 for Diabetes UK and it would be great to see them beat that amount this year!
This is the third year that Loquax has supported CompEx and we’d like to send the organisers our best wishes for a fantastic day.
If you’ve missed this event then there are other comping days planned by other groups, including Comp Pride (Derby) and the return of Big Brum, now known as Brum Bash - more on that at a later day.
If you have a comping event planned and you’d like Loquax to promote it to compers all you have to do is ask us! We’re happy to help! We’re also happy to consider sponsorship/prizes for selected events too - again you just have to ask - CompEx did!
